By this logic, do you think it would be possible to boot a Mac and physically swap the roms? Let's say something like a 9500, boot, rip the ROM out, put a different one in and flash? Or even, in the case of the TAM that has a built in rom, can you not just put a rom in after? I wanna test this...

I ended up booting into Aix, it recongnized it and surprisingly worked, although no data was on the 4gb drive from what I could tell digging around in it... the quantum has been turned into an iso as previously mentioned. installed AIX to bluescsi.

Got it to boot into AIX, nice. I found a apple ii style printer/modem cable and a serial to USB adapter, to try and run that script...if that's still even a thing ide need to do... having some large difficulty getting my computer to connect to it, what is required for it?
