@Froggy814, what were your plans for powering LCD panel? Also, could you just use the space where the hard drive is— perhaps by a bluescsi? Then just have a modern cable run up to the new LCD? Then you wouldn’t need space behind the bezel? Might still be tight but may give you room.

I don't have an elegant way yet.... I was thinking of jumping on the software side of things with the previously proposed use of an INIT to create a sleep hook to poke $FC0200 on wake. My understanding is just with wake from sleep this occurs? and is related to the logic board side... My goals...

No spare yet. The SRAM is not cheap enough. $50 for ten 512 chips, plus tariffs. My 4-8 mb variant will be even more with use of 1 mb chips.

No, never found it. Will see if DTACK problems arise on my version 2 board. The CPLD route was easy to start with and scales easily.

Finally made my own 4MB card, next is the 4 or 8 MB card design that I'm working on. Fun project. I updated the project and cleaned it up a bit for a git depository. It worked for me on first assembly and was easy to program the CPLD with Tigard...

I ordered some 4 layer boards on June 10th, got them June 24… using the cheapest (GOFO).

Maybe start with the cheaper one (micro USB-B) ; we all have adapters. Perhaps keep USB-C for version two if you want... I think the soldering work is overall about the same; more pins on the USB-C

Let me know how the alpha build goes…if successful I’ll order my parts.
