LCD Replacement for the Macintosh Portable

I'm right there with you, but concentrating on other wildly impractical avenues of approach to this mess for the time being. My CAD experience pretty much ended sometime in the mid-90's and never really progressed into the realm of 3D. I do 3D stuff betwixt the ears from 2D inputs. Works well...

LCD Replacement for the Macintosh Portable

I've always wondered how good those scanners actually are. Folks seem to use digital calipers, rulers and the like for such things. Thankfully, I have a sacrificial Luggable on hand. The retractable handle bits make that bezel seem crazy complicated to model. ;)

LCD Replacement for the Macintosh Portable

I've been saying this for a while; what we really need is for a wizard of 3D CAD to recreate the LCD bezel of the Luggable. That way it can be printed with no Trackball cutouts for use with the NumPad or with a single cutout for left or right handed use with trackball and a larger display...

    CatMacs aka Catalog Macs

I was building a Hackintosh based on a 128K MoBo I got on the cheap from Shreve Systems. Snagged a NewLife accelerator that was supposed to be upgraded with TTL Video out. David at TekServe double-checked the board and my header soldering on the 68000. He said it was a very cool accelerator and...

If 1GHz Pi Zero 2 W won't handle remapping in real time with double buffered single frame delay, Compute Module 5 I/O Board in hand for 2.4GHZ injection. 1.5GHz Compute Module 4 and its I/O board currently reside in PowerBook 100 awaiting emulation to catch up with it. So it's available for...

Prototyping a data input capture board for the four VRAM chips on the FPD/SE in wire wrap. Remapping pixels in Pi Zero 2 W for output to obsolete LCD displays via HDMI->DVI adapter cable. Titans of FPGA have said the project seems 100% viable. Board is a precursor to implementation in FPGA. If...

Display graphic FULL SCREEN on Mac SE?

I'm right there with you on wanting to display full screen on an SE, but with a catch. I need to go full screen from a Radius FPD Card in my SE in order to map the pixels as they load into VRAM. I'm wildly guessing your explorations might help, so will be reading closely. My goal may be...
