100% through hole soldering. Just LOTS of it.

Hey folks! Anyone want a set of the Titan /// + 2 and Titan /// + 2e board set for the Apple ///? It turns your Apple /// in to a full Apple //e basically. I have cloned the boards and confirmed functionality. I just need enough interested people to say "YES!" so I can justify a large enough...

I have a video on the BlueSCSI version 2 if folks wanted to take a look: I also did a recent livestream showing how easy it is to assemble them: https://www.youtube.com/live/Qqu62V2Z3Is?feature=share&t=369

I've ordered some of this filament and will be testing it very soon. WOOT

@MacintoshLibrarian - WOOT! Thanks for your work on this!

You can do this, yes. Just get paint in the same color code: RAL 7044. The paint isn't cheap, though.

I recently opened and used part of my last unopened roll. Oh noes! If we can garner enough interest, we can do another group buy. It doesn't save you a whole bunch, but it's usually cheaper than buying a single roll yourself.

Direct from MacEffects: 24 keyboards of each variation will be offered. They won’t be for sale until a couple weeks after all backers receive their keyboard. China is on nation week so they are closed. Estimated 3-4 months until everything is sent and done.

Those are my starting points! I have semi-annotated code from Rob Braun as referenced by Steve Chamberlin. It's more than annotating and commenting the existing code. It's about creating a literal step-by-step English description of what happens.

Yup. Not detailed enough. I have a specific problem that DMS doesn't help to fix.

This is quite a bit newer and has lots of extra code for dealing with newer machines. Helpful, though...

I think GitHub is a bit beyond for this subset.

Here's another thought: if we document this well enough, perhaps we could spin a new version of the ROM that has customized beep codes for different failure points. Flash that to a Rom-In-Ator and BAM - diagnostic ROM.

NOICE. Thanks for thinking of me. I am NOT a programmer. I only play one in my head. Could I do it? Probably. Would it happen fast or work correctly or have intelligent after-sales support. Absolutely not.

Hey, all! Last night I started my own project for documenting, line by line, the MacII-SE/30 ROM code. This all started because I have an SE/30 that is death chiming VERY early in the boot process, and I would love to be able to know what chips/traces to check in what order during these...

Sorry I missed this awesome thread. All I can say is: Great job!

Apologies on lack of updates. ADHD. I forget things. The problems with this a-board were: A) recap required B) lots of loose solder joints C) gunk in the edge connector D) the female connector on the analog signal wire that goes from the front to the cage on the a-board needed to be cleaned.

Both had random trace damage. One had a bad audio amp and the other a bad audio chip. I scavenged the audio amp from one to fix the other and sent back to Javo. I'm waiting for a person who has promised me a "dead parts board" so I can scavenge another chip and get the board back to Javo.

If you want the best color match, the ColorFABB RAL 7044 filament is nearly spot-on. Right now, there's no alternative that we've found.

Okay, dropping a question here to everyone listening: Javier @Javmast3r did some pricing on shipping for the ColorFabb filament, and we can ship more and more filament for about the same shipping price. Like 10 rolls costs as much to ship as 1 roll? ????!?!??!?!? So, here's the question: should...
