That's great. I have an ATV on the way and wanted to avoid buying another PATA/IDE/SATA/USB adaptor - the one I bought years ago died after a week!

When you've booted into OSX from the USB can you see the internal drive and then prep that for the install image?

Did Tiger have graphics acceleration? A Youtuber reported they only got that with a Leopard install?

A1013? Advantages of having L3 cache
Although I have no benchmarks to verify it, I suspect a large L2/L3 really helps on CPU based video decoding - when I had a G3 Powerbook with it's 1Mb L2 cache, it seemed to perform far better than it's 400Mhz CPU would've suggested.
