    SE/30 PSU Schematic

Failing a schematic does anyone have one of these PSU's, and if so could you tell me what resistance R309 is supposed to be? I measured it in circuit and it was basically zero ohms, so I took it out and it's reading the same. It got drowned in cap juice and it's bands are mostly gone. :(

    SE/30 PSU Schematic

Does anyone have a schematic for the "Apple Singapore" PSU used in some SE/30's? I've found the Sony one, but can't seem to find the Apple Singapore one. My PSU was very leaky, so I've recapped it but its voltages are still about half what they should be. There's a 47K resistor that measures...

Mac Plus floppy drive not happy

Kay threw in a freebie for me with a recent order - and I put it in my SE/30 last night. Perfect fit and function. I think I've found my new source of gears! Thanks Kay!

What are your vintage grail items?

I was involved on the cellular side of things, so was involved with the Treo's - from the 650 through.. The Foleo was effectively an accessory for the Treo as it only had Wifi and BT - so used the Treo via BT for connectivity outside of home/office.

What are your vintage grail items?

The Foleo was announced in 2007.. but never shipped due to an incredibly poor response from press and pundits in general. I was fortunate enough to have access to them in my role on the engineering side of things at the company. However being in a satellite office meant that prototype hardware...

What are your vintage grail items?

I've got so much vintage gear, and it's all special in some way to me. Mostly because in some way it brings back fond memories from my youth. I've got a bunch of classic Macs from 128K to Classic II, a tray load iMac G3, Newtons and eMates. Lots of old portable gaming gear too I also have a...

Mac Plus floppy drive not happy

Never seen anyone selling NOS, and given how they deteriorate with age I’m not sure I’d want them..

Mac Plus floppy drive not happy

I got a set from the guy in Italy selling them on eBay. Expensive, but much better quality than some I got locally (here in Australia).

    Classic II Conundrums

I think I stand corrected... I had the floppy and HDD connected before - when I unplugged the two of them I got a chime and no more checkerboard. Looks like the voltage is a bit flakey, even though pretty consistent reading on floppy port. I'll replace the mosfet and the opto and see if that...

    Classic II Conundrums

Thanks, I'll take a look. I'm getting 5V at the floppy port so I don't think it's the voltage.

    Classic II Conundrums

I received a Classic II with pretty classic(!) checkerboard display. Reseated ROM and RAM, same result. Recapped logic board, same result. Recapped analog board, same result. It shows checkerboard with or without ROM chips (Rev B so two ROM chips) - not sure if that's a pointer to the ROMs being...

What Beige Apple ADB keyboards/mice am I missing?

Have you got the grey and black balled ADB mice... A9M0331 - I think the same model number used both colours, but the black ball was smaller.
