Mystic Died. Looking for an MC88916DW80 chip.

I've not had a chance to have a look at my component selection until today, i'll see what i have in stock - also, for clock signal generation - do you have any spare 4-pin DIP frame Oscillators to hand to generate a fixed frequency which would be suitable? IIRC i sent you some 15.6672MHz ones...

Texas Instruments discontinuing a lot of IC's

And more meaning - used in things like the IIci, IIsi etc - the 75175 is pretty ubiquitous in earlier 68k macs.

    Immutable Characteristic: Transness

This issue will be discussed in the upcoming board meeting - any amendments will be announced after this. We recognise that along with a lot of policy - we do need to sometimes flesh out or amend previous guidelines. Thank you to @badferday for raising this - we value our membership giving us...

OSHPark is US based...but prepare to have your wallet reamed. JLCPCB is who i used for all of my Classic and SE reloaded board runs. The latest SE/30 reloaded board run of 50, was done by JLCPCB.

    Regarding ban on 2024-01-29

Recently, some of you may be aware of a ban handed out to a now former member of our community. The reason for that members ban is still valid and the ban will therefore stand (Reason: Violation of the code of conduct). However, the language used in the ban message itself was not just...

    SE/30 Reload

OUCH! $411.28?! Are you also having them populated with birdseed, or are these bare boards? JLCPCB may be a more financially acceptable price.

Time for an Athlon-XP Build - Project Middlesex (Now with pretty pictures!)

Wasn't planning on doing dual monitor - Kinda want to pair it with the Dell Trinitron display i pulled out of the skip all those years ago, but finding CRT's in the 2020's is like searching for gold dust. I remember the nForce 2 RAM bank shenanigans - i literally just need a PSU and to...

    Merch Store Feedback

Just before the primary gifting period of 2023, I ordered a TinkerDifferent Mug, a TinkerDifferent mouse mat (Classic PCB - woo!) and a TinkerDifferent hoodie for @boopbox123 Other than the slightly fuzzy print on the mouse mat, i'm overall impressed with the price and quality of all of the...

Picked up a PowerMac G4 MDD with the Zip750 drive!

Be warned, MO drives aren't cheap although the sweet spot is 1.3GB - usually Fujitsu GIGAMO drives.

Poll - Extending the term length of the board

On this particular point - the vendors section had been devoid of any activity. Almost no posts in there, and the ones that existed generally had no updates for several months. I'm not inclined to agree that there was any damage done to vendors, as the vendors were mostly absent, barring...
