"Platinum" PLA for Macs and Apple ][s

I got news: With the absence of Polymaker Muted white filament, we are basically out of options for platinum filament to match retro Macs (and Apple II's). I reached out to ColorFabb USA, and they basically told me they don't have facilities to make filament, and the best they could do is...

Apple II Floppy drive clear face plate Kickstarter

In case somebody is interested, I started a Kickstarter for the transparent (clear) faceplate of the Apple II drive, that goes very nice with MacEffects' clear Apple II. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/a2floppyclearplate/apple-ii-floppy-drive-clear-face-plate

"Platinum" PLA for Macs and Apple ][s

I definitely will join the next group buy. Been doing a lot of research and there's no other PLA that gets close to this color. Painting is a good option, but only if you are not going to use that piece. I have several painted parts and they are no match.

Just acquired an STE, any tips?

I was not aware of that site, and that specific Gotek is beautiful, the way they should design new peripherals. I have to say that I prefer and recommend the Masteries' Hard drive replacement, is nicer, small and cheaper than a Satan. Here's the store link...

    Great resource for Atari parts

I recently acquired a 1020 plotter. Came without pens, and after a few days searching, they are almost impossible to source, and the ones around are for medical equipment at very high prices in Europe. Finally, somebody at the forums suggested Best Electronics, which happens to be a great...

Project request - Duo battery case 3d print

Somebody will need to send Joe or Ron (he has a 3D scanner) a battery to be made. Also looks like it has a cap, the black part, which is not part of the battery. I read somewhere that is so thin it can't fit many batteries there, so you may need to do some research before creating a...
