I like bonuspoints……..
But have to disapoint you (me)here.

To get a 605 or 475 board at a fair price here is next to impossible.
Apple computers where not that much used/widespread overhere.

Coincidentally I had luck and found this attic stored LCIII last weekend locally.
(as what you / 360 alaska suggested)

So this LC, the 630 and the CLII is what I have to work with for now.

The big question is if the CLII board can run the CD-rom….
Is there suitable software?
Will that be usable/practical?
Otherwise I need to change plans

Short weekend update…..

Narrowing the sheetmetal bottomsection to fit the front again.

Next getting these sections together again.
Then shortening to purpose….

Cool! Does it look like a rail on the left and right side of the big open boxed gap on the back to slide in the PSU with side rail grooves?

No rail, at least dont think so…there was a PSU …once…..

As its length will be (about) halved, the backend will go.
Then a new back panel in alu or pla (3d printed)is made.
This, with all needed holes/connectors.
Just to make that decent again.

No, not a dead topic yet….made the snap hooks in working order. This way i have a dimension to work to, while gluing in the sheetmetal side.
