Hmm, i had thought about this, but there may be some extra considerations. There is a 'light mode' that you can switch to, that may make things easier for you, but additional themes might entail some tweaking. @Branchus is the guru for these sorts of things!

This makes sense with the inbound PPC challenge. Over at MR forums, it is common practice to turn off the rich text editor to improve PPC performance while surfing the forum (ad blockers too but that is a non issue here). It would be a cool function that somewhere (like in account preferences) there was a toggle squirreled away we could use to simplify how the website presents for modest machines, improving performance.

TD would literally be the only website on the www that is actively designed with a elderly computer/OS backwards compatibility function (within reason of course). How cool would that be :)

Well, I think that title goes to System 7 Today which has a front-end allowing you to visit the forum on your System 7 Mac. But! With a lightweight theme Tinker Different would open up to a whole bunch of older systems and frankly, posting stuff from our beloved oldies is much more fun than any modern gear, isn't it? ;-)

Besides you'd be in good company with the impending Mac Garden redesign also opting for "less is more". Maybe that should be the new theme for the web in 2022, but hey, that's a whole different topic ...

Any good lightweight themes for XenForo available ?
