Been gathering info on how to make use of a IIGS monitor I've acquired. I don' have IIGS—I bought it for the Universal Monitor Stand— and don't need another project. But, I've read on teh intertubes that it's kind of perfect for things like original SNES and Genesis consoles.

I'll keep reading and trying to make sense of it all, but has anyone actually done this? Did it take $$$ of adapters to do it?

Retrocables makes a SNES -> SCART, but I don't see a way to get SCART -> DA15 for this purpose, and then there's the issue of getting audio out of it.

It seems like I'd have to hack some wiring together as nothing exists yet, without using some kind of devices like a RetroTink 4K. Which I don't need. I already have a RetroTink 2K and can play on the big screen, I just want to see if I can make use of this great monitor.

Out of desperation, I managed to hook up an Amiga to mine.... at least until I got the right adapter to use my other monitors with the Video Toaster active. Weird things happen in genlock mode to the sync signals.... its a long story. Back in the day, an outfit called Redmond Cables would custom make a SNES to AppleColor RGB adapter, but those days are long over.
