I was chatting with someone at MicroCenter about getting a creative pen/tablet combo to use with my M3 MacBook Pro. These were the suggestions he offered:

There's also the Magic Trackpad, but I don't think this could do the same thing...

Any suggestions from folks here? Again, I'm working with Affinity Photo, and this would be the main use for such a pen/tablet combination, though there might also be other uses I'm not aware of yet.

I've been using a Huion tablet for years. It was a fraction of the cost of a Wacom and works just as well for me. The tablet I purchased is no longer made but you should be able to easily find the newer options on Amazon or elsewhere.

EDIT: This "Inspiroy H1161" looks to be the newer equivalent to the one I have.

Cool. I was chatting with a digital artist, and she was telling me ways such a tool could be useful, as in using the lasso tool. There would definitely be a bit more control in using such a tool. There is also the ability to be able to write in cursive and incorporate the results into a graphic.
