Hey folks!
A friend of mine saved this Apple 15 inch (Blueberry) display from the recycler and asked if I wanted it. Of course like any sane person I said YES lol

Unfortunately this one didn't come with a power supply so I have no way to power it up for testing. I was wondering if one of you kind folks might have the specification for the power adapter so I can find a replacement and/or if anyone knows of a good replacement I can order it would be much appreciated!

Edit: Took some searching but it Seems like it takes 45W 24V 1.875amp but I can't find if it's center positive or center negative. Anyone here know?

I have a similar problem. I bought the this lcd as well but I also dont have a power supply. Ive noticed one of the power book adapters has very similar specs and ive considered trying to modifying it for my display.
Heres an ebay listing for such adapter.

Awesome! Thank you! And with that I have a working monitor :)
Hi! Sorry to bring up an old thread. I'm in a similar predicament. I have picked up a G3 that came with a Studio Display. Mine too is missing the power supply. I've looked online but the old power supplys go for more then I paid for the screen, a G3 and a Power G3 combined!

Can I ask, did you use an orignal power supply or did you find an alternative? I guess it's possble to use a more modern power supply but I'll need some sort of male to female barrel plug adapter.

I ended up ordering a replacement off amazon that used adapters to connect to the monitor. This is the unit according to my order history

iirc it came with the necessary adapters so it was just a single purchase. Hope that helps!

Thanks, I couldn't find that exact one, but I measured the barrel jack on the monitor and it seems to be a standard 5.5mm x 2.5mm jack. I've found a generic 24v 2A power supply, that has the same jack, and then a female to female 5.5x2.5 adapter. Hopefully this works, and was only £20, about 1/10th of the cost of the OEM ones.

Power Supply
Barrel Jack Adapter

I'll update tomorrow if it work, might help someone else :)
