Apple/Bose Roommate Speakers

Has anyone had experience with these Bose/Apple Roommate speakers? The guy I got them off said the power had been intentionally disconnected “internally” (110V input only and I’m in Australia with 240V) - but he didn’t know any more. There is no obvious screws to take them apart, and I’d hate to damage them fiddling about. If all else fails they will just after to look super cool…

Actually someone sent me some doco and I’ve got them apart. Should be an easy repair to the AC line.

The logo rotates so you can mount them vertically as well.

That’s very cool. I love the aesthetic of these - so awesome. Exactly the sort of project I’m attracted to but I have a thing for quality speakers, DAW studio monitors etc. Always satisfying when you bring something back to life
