Apple /// Chasis color

Hey gang,

Does anyone know, offhand, if there is a rattle can paint out there that matches the Greenish-Brown paint of the A/// chassis?


I fear I may have to mix colors to get a perfect match & airbrush it if no known match is available.

I don't have a specific answer about which paint can to buy on Amazon, Mark, but I did find the following article about the paint color to be quite interesting, especially since Apple even offered bottles of touch-up paint back in the day!

I suspect it is the same as the Apple II which was PMS 453. They have all yellowed a lot since then so it's hard to know with any level of certainty.

Thanks, guys-I'm speaking of the Brown of the aluminum Apple III chassis and not the beige, plastic parts. But that's good info on beige!

I believe you can take a part into any large paint store and have someone do a color match on it.
