Apple IIc and Smartport

Hi folks, probably a noob question but here goes:

My modified IIc with ROM4 is pulling an image from a FloppyEMU using smartport slot. However every time it tries to load it say GS/OS requires Apple II GS hardware. I'm pretty sure the images aren't IIGS specific. Anything obvious I might be doing wrong?

Which image is giving you this error? It certainly sounds like a GS/OS based image.

Are you sure you have the right image on the FloppyEMU SD card? Those images do not have GS/OS on them. They do boot in a normal IIe or //c.

Updated the firmware on the Floppy EMU and tried some different files. Working as expected now. Thanks!

Here's the newly retrobrited Apple IIc case and monitor with the MacEffects back-lit keyboard and upgraded ROM. (1983 rev with the terrible keyboard before). Really happy how this turned out.
