I picked up an SE this weekend and found an Applied Engineering TransWarp TW1340 in it. It appears to be working.
Does anyone have any reference material for it? I've googled and come up with nothing.

I have one of these guys and a Control Panel I can dig up for you that gives you some tools. There's also a product called "Virtual" that will let the SE see the memory on the AE card, so you can have an SE with a 68030 and 16MB of RAM.

Fortunately, it's working. The hard drive still had the driver - Warp30. Benchmarks from Snooper show that it is working and wow is it fast.
I'd just love to get my hands on the original documentation if there is any out there.

Hi

I just acquired the Mac Classic version of this accelerator (TW2340). Similar to some other posts I’ve found, I can’t get the card to recognize more than 4MB of RAM (despite 16MB being installed).

@ScutBoy Can you confirm you have used Virtual with a TW1340? It seems that these cards use an 68EC030 processor which lacks an MMU and therefore isn’t supported by Connectix Virtual. If you have a version with a full 68030 that would be interesting as the sales material for these cards shows Virtual is not supported. Are you able to post a picture of your card to confirm if there are other differences?

@Eric's Edge Did you install more than 4MB on your card? Are you able to access it? Can you confirm what the AE Warp 030 control panel shows when you click info for both Physical and Logical memory?

Thanks!!

That board is long gone from my collection, so I can't verify what happened at the time, but I'm pretty dang sure I had 16MB of RAM running under Virtual with that one.

Sorry I can't be of more help!
