Well this was today's pickup ... an Xserve RAID in the box, along with the PCI card that's required to operate it with the G4/G5/Xserve. Definitely not something I ever thought I'd ever own, but a fellow collector in the local area was offering it at a price I couldn't say no to.
I've never seen the packaging for one of these before, or even a photo of it - some brief searching seems to indicate there isn't much documentation of it online anywhere. So I will be really thoroughly photographing and cataloging everything (including the documentation materials, software discs, etc.) on my site.
Really looking forward to playing with this! And also removing all that packing tape from the box ...
