Broken SE/30 ROM SIMM Clip

I have a SE/30 here that someone man-handled rather badly in its past and broke the clips (ie both ends) of the ROM SIMM holder. They had then used supaglue (cyanoacrylate) to hold it all together. The glue has aged and cracked so the SIMM doesn't mate correctly now. Other than replacing the holder, any suggestions? My first thought was hot glue...

Hot glue sounds too wobbly. Maybe check out the epoxy putty available at you local hardware store/lumber yard murder box?

Just noticed the replacement parts thread, desolder and install a new socket should be long term goal.

I have done a RAM-specific clip for these... but the problem is the wide array of RAM slots and RAM SIMMs. It's hard to make something universal that will work with everything.

It's possible that my ROM clips will work, but I doubt it primarily due to the spacing of the slots.
