I'm tinkering with my Power Macintosh 9600. It has a Sonnet G4 400mhz CPU upgarde card. When I got it, it had no hard drive but I have since set it up with a SCSI2SD V6 and installed Mac OS 9 onto it and updated to 9.2.2 using the OS9 Helper app. I'm now curious to see if I can get OS X Tiger running on the machine however when I try to launch the app, I'm greeted with the error "The application "XPostFacto" has unexpectedly quit, because an error of type 12 occured. You should save your work in other open applications and restart the computer." If I try to launch the same app on my Pismo PowerBook, it opens fine. I then tried doing a clean install of OS 9 onto a seperate partition but the app also gives the same error there. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

I don’t exactly know what the error message could mean, but assuming that XPostFacto might require CarbonLib, I would make sure it is installed and updated. This is just a quick guess and others might have better ideas 😉
