Hi, I have this card in my GS.
I'd like to know if I should use an IDE hard drive or stick with the CF card.
Unfortunately, there's little information online.
Thank you so much for your support.

I think you would be better sticking with the CF card. I see from the mfr website, they don't have an v2.0 card info. They dropped the IDE interface on the CFFA3000 board, so hold on to it in case you want to go that route some day. You can always use the IDE with an IDE SSD as well.

The CF interface? YES, CF is still used in many retro adapters because it is primarily the same as IDE with extra pins. I use CF to IDE adapters in lots of laptops, some desktops, and even in some iPods. I still have many Canon EOS DSLR cameras that use the CF format.
