Yes it's just Aleph One on steam, but cool. Suppose they're driving up some Hype for the new Marathon that seemingly has nothing to do with the old one except the name.

I liked Pathways more. There's more of Marathon, but I just gave up on one level where one had to do some kind of grenade jump out of lava to progress in the game. I liked the puzzles in Pathways.

But for multiplayer, of course, one needs Marathon. We used to have annual Marathon LAN parties around the holidays.

Marathon was a favorite for LAN parties in my youth. I've read the story, though I've never played single player all the way through. It's on my to-do list. Perhaps this winter.
