Perhaps I’ll try to beat my best time on Planet-X3’s first level. I don’t remember off the top of my head what it is right now, but I’ll bet I can take it lower. One note if anyone wants to try to beat me when I do post the time later, I don’t allow myself to use remote missiles because it takes the fun out of it for me.
That's one hour, not one minute, right? My record is somewhere in the 6 minute region I think, I'll have to check, my document I use to track my scores is on my ThinkPad 385XD haha. The jungle map took me the longest on my first go, 50 minutes thereabouts I think. I still haven't beaten all of the maps, I just have a way of never getting around to it.

I don't think I want to commit the mental energy in learning how to do any map in a mere handful of minutes, heh.

No issue I’m taking time to learn the ropes, I had already watched some gameplay videos before I began so I sort of knew what to do already. I think my first attempt on river divide took me 20-30 minutes, although I don’t remember. I’ve played that level dozens of times since then.
I’ll probably upload a video to YouTube showing my strategy if anyone is interested. Again, I don’t use remote missiles, I’m sure you could get a lower time if you did.

my 2nd playthrough was on that maps with the tiny islands and the need to build super long bridges out into the unknown, this took forever and the enemy is some cluster of resilient cockroaches, lemme tell you.

Yeah, I still haven’t beaten the two islands map… I’m going to have to give in and use the missiles I think, getting to the bases with a frigate is too difficult.
