DuoDisk/ ][e question...

Hey Gang!

I just acquired my first ][e. It's an early serial number: 09219 with the Original Rev. A board.

My question is: can I connect a DuoDisk to this e? I know there is a Floppy controller for use with the DuoDisk, and more, but I am not sure if an Un-enhanced model can handle one...

The optional adapter seems to be required for the DuoDisk, according to the documentation:

No mention of a version of the IIe being too old, so I assume that means it is compatible, but you could drop Steve C. an email to be sure.
