External HDD enclosure not powering on with BlueSCSI

Hello,
I have a Rodime enclosure. The original HD died time ago, so I use now a more "modern" SCSI drive. All works fine.
I'd like to use a BlueSCSI, but the power supply doesn't turn on with it, maybe because the load is too low for the switching to work, or maybe because the switching needs load in the 12V rail.
Can you give any hint on what could I do to make it work?

@pfuentes69, which Mac are you using with the Rodime enclosure?

you shouldn't need the power supply from the enclosure, the BlueSCSI should get all the power it needs from the termination power provided by the computer.

@luminescentsimian, that is why I need to know which Mac @pfuentes69 is using. Not all Macs provide 5v termination power.

I forgot to say that it’s a Plus, and I didn’t do the term power diode hack, because I’m wary of making some silly mistake and kill it.

Ah! A Macintosh Plus, cool.

If you are uncomfortable adding the diode to the Plus logic board, you will need to power the Blue SCSI with a USB cable.
