Whats your favourite driving album, or albums? I've got a few. Absolute number 1 top of the list is the Top Gun soundtrack. Others, in no particular order are:

Top Gun Maverick soundtrack
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium
Deep Purple - When We Rock, We Rock, and When We Roll, We Roll
Cold Chisel - Chisel
John Farnham - One Voice: Greatest Hits
Karl Jenkins - Adiemus: Songs of Sanctuary
Basically anything from Mary Chapin Carpenter
Basically anything from Creedence Clearwater Revival
Basically anything from Moog (from Mighty Car Mods)
Buckwheat Zydeco - On Track
Enya - Watermark
The Eagles - Their Greatest Hits (1971 - 1975)

Historically the blue version of the Best of The Art of Noise (all long 12" mixes) and Chris Abbott's Back in Time II were my primary long-drive go-tos. Today's long drive was with the new Q Lazzarus compilation and the soundtrack from Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

Anything from Yo La Tengo. Or Pictures of you by The Cure or My bloody Valentine are common choices. If I’m feeling Angsty or doomy, Deftones or classic metal like Iron Maiden or Megadeth symphony of Destruction to Tool or Chevelle, Pantera or Helmet is always a good choice to get the blood pumping. If I’m out enjoying my god given 2nd amendment or fishing or camping, 90s country is a great choice ie: George Straight, here for a good time or Alan Jackson Smalltown southern man or into the 2000s with Billy Currington or Brad Paisely, Toby Keith or Trace Adkins & Chris Stapleton and similar are great choices. My wife loves hip hop so sometimes a solid mix of De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest, Beastie Boys, Bone thugs, Fugees, Lauren Hill, MosDef, Blackstar etc. pour on the nostalgia. Kinda hard to pin down a single artist or album as I have a couple car playlists on an SD cards haha.
