HDMI/DVI to VGA Converter

I have a PowerMac G3 and a PowerMac G4, both with VGA outputs. I have a Cinema Display 17 LCD M7649 monitor and the Apple A1006 adapter.
What do I need to connect these two computers to this monitor? (One computer at a time )

These are all DVI options, but you should be able to adapt VGA to DVI.

Dr. Bott DVIator with power supply. Often overpriced for what it is, you can technically build your own. I posted the pinout here.

Apple made an official one called the M8661LL/B Apple DVI to ADC Display Adapter

There is some discussion here, for the crt, though.

I already have this adapter. What could I be missing?
I also have a converter like the one mentioned in this post.
Scart to HDMI converter

Is there anything I can use it for?

So if you have the official apple adapter... it would go something like this:

VGA output from computer
-
Standard VGA cable
-
Standard DVI-VGA adapter -

-
DVI Gender Changer (Female to Female) - This part you are likely missing.

-
Apple DVI to ADC
-
ADC LCD Monitor


Big jumbled mess of adapters, but it should work.
