Hi there! Longtime Mastodon user and even longer-time YouTube lurker in the retro-tech community.
Like many of you (apparently) I'm an IT guy by trade. I'm old enough to have used compact Macs in public school, but young enough to really feel like the blue and white plastics era is old enough to be thoroughly retro. (and everything is relative, after all)
If you know me at all, it's probably because you've seen my "Bad Caps" cartoons on a t-shirt. And while electronics as a hobby has been part of my life since I was a kid (and persistently enough to make dorky jokes about capacitors), my skills pale in comparison to those here in the community at large.
I've just finished watching Colin's custom SE/30 project and I was so stoked I just had to finally come sign up and say hi. Maybe you'll see more of me in the future (I hope so, time and aforementioned skills development pending).
Cheers!
