Hey all, I have this card from a IIx, and none of my searches have come up with anything so far. I only guessed this was a video card by the term "vram" mentioned on it. In some searches I found the name "Thunder" but none of the images I found seem to match this one. It does have a 15 pin port and what looks to be an 8 pin mini DIN port underneath. None of the numbers come up with anything useful, the year printed on it says 1988.

If anyone would like me to zoom in further on any of the areas of the card let me know.

Much appreciated!

Thank you for the pointer - I went through all the SuperMac labelled on on https://wiki.preterhuman.net/List_of_NuBus_expansion_cards and none of them matched visually, especially with the mini DIN connector. On further research, that seems to be the right direction though (see this 68klma thread for instance), so I'll go through the revisions to see which one matches. Found one that has the mini DIN as well but no indicator as to which revision it is ...

What strikes me most about that card is the MacUser sticker. Is that a property tag? More likely a mail order house part number.

Does the IIfx boot up or does any other NuBus Mac you might have for testing it? Running TattleTech to get the card's ID from the Declaration ROM (DeclROM) would be the way to find out what's up. All the drivers you'll need should be in the DeclROM.

Worthpoint looks a match, that's be the name/model right there. Later cards would have further designation per revlevel.
