Yeah makes sense now because everything that started with $ wouldn't work and I was like wait a minute?

Yeah. % is a regular prompt. $ is the customize-zsh-prompt-macos-terminal, I think.

You want the % prompt.

That's what I have I'm running MacOS Monterey 12.4 on my mid 2017 iMac, really want to upgrade to the Mac Studio.

Meh, Studio is overrated. I am sticking with MBA or MBP. I have been using MBs for a long time now.

Did you previously use the programmer with a Windows box and the official software? Might need to go back to that to reflash it. I've never run into the problem you have unfortunately.

I did in fact use it on a windows 11 machine
