I'm looking for some help with the spicy o clock. I just received it in the mail recently and when I attempt to adjust the potentiometer, I'm getting resistance measurements that are way over the appropriate range. I'm still learning about electronics, so I'm maybe missing something or doing something wrong. Can anyone see anything from the photo? The resistance readings should be between 0.5 k Ohms and 2 from what I understand.

As a test, have you tried measuring the resistance directly on the pads beneath the 4-pin connector? It has been a while since I installed Spicy O’clocks in my Mystic Color Classic and Quadra 650 but I don’t recall seeing anything unusual in the resistances. I imagine you are using Kay Kobe’s instructions. There is always try another multimeter.

Sorry for the confusion. I would like to point out that in the new PCB V.1.3 the number is plus 3.3K. So the value you asked for is actually 1.19K ohms... If you want to get the value according to the previous manual, measure the resistance value between the images.

As mentioned in the previous reply, this is the result of measuring with the probe point between A and B:

Since B is connected in a row, it doesn't matter where you connect it to among the three pins:

We are sorry @mcbeav , hope this helps. But thanks, I thought I had to point this out and left it there, but you reminded me. Your multimeter and SpicyO'Clock are fine. RGD, -Kay
