I’m fine with whatever games - the biggest thing for me is that whatever games are picked work on newer macs running system 7. I don’t find playing on an emulator fun, and so games that won’t run on anything other than a Plus or original Mac running System 5 or something like that don’t appeal to me. I checked out airborne and it looks fun but it’s from 1985 and probably won’t run on any of the systems I’ve got because of that.
Just my opinion though.
It is a good reminder that I’ve GOT to take a compact home from the VCF swap meet this year.
Sometimes, games feel they have some floaty reaction time inside emulators, especially in Basilisk. I think I know what you mean.
However, you don't need to worry about "Airborne!" running in mini-vMac. For one, like always, a bootable DSK file will be provided and two, there's no feeling of delay that compromises the action, it's very close to the real thing.
