A sender walks into a Post Office and approaches the counter, placing the box in front of a Postal employee.

"Hello, I'd like to send this via mail, please."

"Okay." (weighs the box)

"So, how much would that be?"

"What is this?"

"An iPhone."

"That would be $50 via priority. Or $30 via First Class."

"Huh? Why that much?"

"It's an iPhone."

"So? It is under 6 ounces."

"Yeah, it is. It's an iPhone." (the Postal employee points to a fine print posted on the laminated document on the counter)

(Sender's eyes pop out) The fine print reads, "The United States Postal Service will automatically add a surcharge upon discovery of an iPhone or iPad in any package for increased insurance."

"Yeah, sorry. It comes from the head postmaster in Washington. Apple costs more to send because we take extra care of those packages."

After the sender pays $30 for First Class and receives the receipt with a tracking number, he notices the postal employee throwing the box into a bin behind. The sender looks at the container with an Apple logo and reads, "Apple iPhone and iPad."

"Excuse me. You said to take extra care and tossed it in the bin?"

"Oh yeah, that bin has a pillow cushion inside. Only one box allowed in that."
