I've been slowly upgrading my LC 475, I've seen a few threads with others on here that have one as well.

Current setup:

- 68MB of Ram
-Ultra 320 10k drive
- swapped out the 040 for a full 040 with a heat sink and fan, thermal paste.
-1MB Vram

Thank you for sharing photos of your current project. I like that copper heatsink and plastic clip to hold it on! Much better to use that kind of setup with good thermal paste and 2-sided thermal tape.

Thank you bakkus! Haha, I do have a Scsi2sd and a MacSD. But when that drive spins up it's a good feeling Those Server drives are crazy! The barracuda 15K sounds like a jet starting up. I'm sure my PSU is having a grand old time.

I'm using those drives in my PowerMacs. Had a pile of them sitting around so I figured what the heck it's a cheap solution. Gotta love that fighter jet sound!
