Tl;dr: What is the standard part number for horizontal output transistor of the iMac G3? What is in your iMac G3?
I've been working on restoring a 350MHz slotloading iMac G3. I bought it used in 2008 and it worked fine until 2013 when it died. My horizontal output transistor has a marking on it that has been driving me nuts trying to find information on. The marking on it is TS7910. I have found no information on this part online. Some sketchy vendors have incorrectly classified it as a voltage regulator, but none provide any datasheet. I've only seen mention of it on two other forums - neither had a resolution.
While searching online for photos of the PAV board for this line of Macs, I came across a photo of someone else's HOT. It was a 2SC5299, which has many results and datasheets online.
Can anyone tell me what the standard HOT part number is, or at least what part number is in your Mac, if you've taken one apart? See photo for reference.
Thanks!
