One of my friends from high school reached out to me to ask if I was interested in her old M6498, which she bought new back in 2002. I know this model can boot into OS 9, which makes me want to acquire it (I had bought an A6498 the next year and was really disappointed that it couldn't boot into 9).
I'm not sure how long it has sat since she used it (she's the original owner). Although I do have the A6498 (currently stored at a friend's house in the original box until I free up more space or decide to sell it), I'm not as familiar with these machines as I am the 68Ks. Is there anything I should be looking for on it in terms of components that could fail?
