Is this worth it?

70 bones... I'm mostly thinking about hard to find chips and the CRT tube.

Worth it?

I'd also be cool to sell the parts I'm not looking to have back ups for at no profit.

Looks like it might either be a memory issue or the mobo needs recap. The price is up to you... depending on what else is available locally vs shipping it. I know my metro area has a lot more options with things like criagslist, offerup, and Free Geek

My first guess is along the lines of what @phunguss said, from my experience of restoring a Classic II. It will need a recap of the surface mount electrolytic caps if it hasn’t already been recapped. The Classic II also comes with RAM soldered to the logic board that also serves as video RAM. I had to remove, clean, repair a few traces, the resolder RAM near a cluster of caps that spilled their cap goo. I wrote about my restoration here, although I did not include pics of the CRT showing strange patterns like yours that led me to the onboard RAM as the problem.
