I just acquired one of these in operational condition. Does anyone have any information about it? I tried googling it, but all I get is sales history sites. Also, mine is missing the battery door on the top back and the modem door on the left rear. If anyone has a line on these, I would appreciate it.

From the way it reads, it sounds like it, although the letters D/LT386SX Plus don't appear anywhere on it. I will post some photos and what information I find soon after I get it cleaned up. It does function but has some burned out resistors on one side of the power supply. I assume that was part of the charging circuit for the battery.

Got a couple of board photos. I am trying to reassemble after cleaning. It's not easy with this one. The plastic tab came odd the video cable.

It does run so I wonder if that is part of the charging circuit. I wish I had schematics so I can figure out the values of the three big resistors that were there.

Trip down memory lane, I had this machine back when it came out. I also installed the cyrix fasmath co processor which completely transformed it into a number crunching machine. I remember my old roommate said he could complete his city traffic study compilations in 30 minutes vs 4 hours at work.

Loved the slide out keyboard. I ended up trading it for a desktop 486 but would love to get it back now.
