I have a Mac Plus I redently got. It was in tired shape but working. I recapped the analog board and reflowed the solder joints for all (3?) of the connectors.
Everything works great except on a cold start (eg mac been sitting for hours) the screen kinda flickers dim momentarily every few seconds but after “warming up “ for a minute or less problem is gone.
In case it is relevant - i have some issue (bad cutoff pot perhaps) where the luminance cutoff acts like it is set to max though I keep it dimmed via the brightness knob. I should probably sort this out first to be sure it isnt causing the issue but…
