Macintosh Portable non-backlight replace display options

What are my options for replacing the Active Matrix panel in my non-backlight display?

Are there any options other than using a display from a similar Mac portable?

I have a PowerBook 170 display which I know is backlite with different connector.

Unfortunately there’s none. At least not that I know.
The Portable display has a high failure rate, apparently due to some “poor“ materials (lamination glue) that did not age gracefully.
Out of the 4 units I had, 3 developed dead lines over the years, only one (touching wood) is still in mint conditions, bar for a couple of dead pixels.
Would be great to identify or even develop a potential spare, but I seriously doubt it could be financially viable.
