Hi!
I'm Mr. Fahrenheit, and I'm one of the founding members here.
By day, I work for a couple of large companies doing software coding, IT support, and forensic accounting and analysis. By night, I usually tinker with vintage Macs, retro video games, or just watching YouTube/NetFlix. I really enjoy travelling, especially with a road in front and behind. I have been to over 40 of the US States, Canada, Mexico, but never outside of North America.
Why Mr. Fahrenheit? Due to my job, my identity needs to be kept private. You can call me 'Mr. F” if you want. The name makes me smile every time, because it's a reference within such an up-beat 'Queen' song.
Back in fall of 2019, I helped Gamers Nexus determine the cause of Enermax water cooler failures, by analyzing the various materials they extracted from the pumps. This was my first 'public' appearance, and to keep things private, I created the 'Mr. Fahrenheit' alter-ego, which I have used since. The name was very applicable to the GN investigation they were doing. You can find that video here:
Other hobbies and interests include travelling, vintage Macintosh, Commodore 64/128, modern Macintosh, Linux servers, HyperCard, Revolution/LiveCode, retro and modern video games (Arma 3 is one favorite, as is Astroneer), and taking care of 2 dogs.
I'm a shooting star leaping through the sky
Like a tiger defying the laws of gravity
I'm a racing car passing by like Lady Godiva
I'm gonna go, go, go
There's no stopping me
I'm burnin' through the sky, yeah
200 degrees
That's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit
I'm travelling at the speed of light
I wanna make a supersonic man out of you
I'm having such a good time
I'm having a ball
