Hi all !

Sorry for cross-posting in 68kmla and here.
I'm looking for information on a PDS video card I've got in a battery bombed Macintosh SE 1/40.

The strange thing about it is that I have a DB15 connector so I am wondering if it would be usable on a recent monitor using a VGA adapter.
Also, one wire is disconnected and I'm not sure of its original place on the connector since some pins are linked together.

Finally, any info on drivers ? Using a BlueSCSI, I could do a backup of original hdd but the only INIT I've found that does not seem to be from Apple is a "Publisher V2.40B" INIT (we can see it on the last attached picture)

Here are some pictures if this can help … Sorry for the quality.

Thank you for reading me :)

I have exactly the same card, with the serial number A14267, but with the DB9 connector.
Did you find any drivers or more information about the card?

Same here, Chris from that Facebook post. Finally had some time to get another look. I can try to see if the SE/30 this came from powers on to retrieve any drivers it had.

Sorry!
I forgot I did a thread here too

So here is the driver I've found on the SE hdd:

As you can see in attached pictures, this video card should support :
  • Apple 12" High Resolution
  • Apple 15" Single Page
  • Apple 21" Dual Page
  • Single Page Display
  • Dual Page Display

As soon as I have done my new breakout cable, I will try to use a classic VGA adaptor to connect it to a "modern" LCD monitor which is known to work with my LC475 and support sync on green and others specific frequencies.

Once I found the actual part # I googled it and this page was in it. Would love to get a monitor this works with that takes DB9 or make a DB-15 cable like you have.
