So, I bid on and won a Micron Xceed grayscale neck-board for the SE/30 from Buyee a week or so ago. I knew I was taking a chance, but the price was good. And besides I figured, it's really mostly just a bunch of wires; it won't be a problem to ship, right?
Wrong.
Thanks these stupid anti-vintage tech policies, I got this notice from Buyee:
Seeing as all it is is a bunch of wires and a simple circuit board, I didn't think it would be a problem. I will also admit that I bought it in hast, without really take a look at it and the fact that it is mostly just a standard neck board. However, the original software, cool Micron boxes, and manuals would be nice to have....especially since I already paid for them. If nothing else, it would be nice to see some other resolution than all of this going to a landfill.
@JDW-I've heard that you have helped a few other people in similar situations!
Wrong.
