Cross posting these thoughts over here, also posted in the 68kMIA thread, as a result of the discussion there.
Hey all! I am glad the other place is back up, but I wanted to say how in this experience, I am coming to prefer this place, and hope the discussions here continue to grow and strengthen.
1. Dark mode and look. I, and my older eyes with too much screen time on them, prefer the design, look and colors here.
2. Editing of threads. As I am newer, and explore new ideas as I think of them, it makes my threads better if I can revise/edit the title, and any posts I have made, with new or revised info as I go. And I hope that makes the threads better as other folks might search for info. Such as my starting a thread regarding building a NAS type server out of one type of machine, and then realizing I had a different, better machine for the job, and editing my title.
3. I like the organization of the forum/subforums.
4. General vibe. Vibe over at 68k has been fine since it has been up again, but my overall experience has been better here since starting, AS LONG AS people participate and respond to threads.
5. I like the "like" options and little Mac emoticons. I just do.
Things to work on from my perspective:
1. Continue to grow participation and response to threads. Already has been discussed. I hope the members here just think to keep sharing their knowledge with others with questions here on the forum.
2. Trade/Sale reputation feature that 68k has seems useful.
