My name is nekogahora280.
My SE / 30 has a machine when SIMM is inserted in addition to A bank
I'm going to jail, but I can't identify the location of the failure.
There are 4 (1Mb)SIMMs in A bank.

I'm assuming that your SE/30 has been recapped. If not, you should get this done as soon as possible.

If it has been recapped, I would be trying some different RAM. This sort of error can be caused by faulty or incompatible RAM in Bank A.

Thanks for the response.
Memory bank A is filled with 1Mb SIMM. (It recognizes 4Mb capacity.) In that state, the machine normally displays a normal screen. However, if you point 1MbSIMM or 256kbSIMM to memory bank B, you will get an arpeggio. The logic board capacitors were recapped long before they came to me. Do you have any experience with such symptoms?

There are lots of possible causes, but my guess would be failure of one of the RAM multiplexers (UI2, UJ2, UI3, UJ3, UI4 or UJ4) or some trace damage in that area.

If you replace the tip around here
There is a possibility of improvement

I know that SE/30s can be *very* picky about RAM. I had a similar problem with mine, and was only able to resolve it through a lot of experimenting with different RAM combinations. The ideal scenario is to have all 8 slots populated with identical modules.

Thank you for the information.
Use this weekend to get the same brand with your RAM SIMM
I would like to choose and fill the memory bank.
Currently, I am ordering an IC near the memory bank and would like to try replacing the IC. My soldering technique is inexperienced, so I hesitate. I use English as simple as possible.

OH!
I examined the memory according to the advice.
She worked fine.
I examined the manufacturer of RAMSIMM.
Recognized 6 out of 8 slots. Fill the remaining 2 slots to create an arpeggio.
I plugged in two 256kb SIMMs at hand. I'm going to work now.
This continuation will be challenged after returning home.

Souds like you're on track! Let's hope a quick revival with all 8 simms matched up :)

I wrote that it worked normally when I inserted the examined SIMM into the SIMM3 slot. However, the truth is that the total memory display recognized by the main unit was 4Mb. In other words, SIMM3 did not recognize the inserted memory SIMM. Should I replace UI4 and UJ4 in UJ4 from UI2 for chips for SIMM3 and SIMM4?

After all, this machine will go to the next owner. Perhaps I had a chance to replace the surface-mounted chips with Io shoes. I replaced the electrolytic capacitor.
I decided that it would be better to buy another individual with the money I sold and try to repair it.
