If it gets above 80-90C under full load, that would be a bit on the hot side. Hard to say what's normal for a D630 since every laptop is different, but between 40-60C at idle is fairly normal I think?
Unfortunately, I couldn't install CoreTemp-I keep getting a "driver failed to load" error. What else can I try? Thanks for your help. :)

What are the options in BIOS under "Onboard Devices"? Otherwise boot into Windows and pull up Device Manager, and find and disable it.
