It's getting to be that time of year when my 1982 Corvette sees more street time! Two-tone blue with a dark blue interior. I bought it in college and don't think I'll ever want to sell it. I've built a new transmission and rear end for it (installed using my DIY car "lift"). Would eventually like to drop an LS1 or something similar in too. Who knows what the future will hold!

Gorgeous! I love the 80s C3s, they look so long and aggressive.

Another curiosity of mine when I was a whee lad in the very early 80s - I could not for the life of me understand how Star Track worked. I mean there were no tracks in space AND the ship had no wheels to go down these nonexistent, invisible space tracks. This just did not compute in my 4 y/o mind.

I mean what were these writers thinking ? LOL

Looks like some cool dudes here. I daily a 2017 Chevrolet Volt, but I'm about to burn a ton of gasoline doing Big Sky Race Week in my 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 with a turbocharged 351W. I had to swap the transmission this week. Better that it failed a week before the trip than 1000 miles into it. It had some questionable behavior for a long time that I was ignoring, but thankfully it got way worse with some time left to fix it.

I used to have a 1998 Volvo V90 with a Ford 5.0L, but I parted that out. A good thing too, because that's where I got the spare transmission.
