Original Micron XCEED 30HR GrayScale Kit for sale soon

Hello everyone!

Keith and I at Computer Compulsive will be posting a complete Micron XCEED 30HR GrayScale setup with harness and neckboard for the SE/30.

It's been fully tested, and works with 256 Internal GrayScales, and also has been upgraded to the 30HR rom so external color is capable of 1024X768 at 16 colours.

Will be posting an eBay auction link soon.

We also have a 2nd harness and neck board available, and will be posting that link as well.

Wow.

I say that because I have that very card and the original grayscale kit and wire harness, including the external monitor connector. I wasn't aware prices have risen to that level now.

Probably would be hard to reverse engineer a video card that complex, but we've been surprised before. Even an expensive clone would cost less. And while there are alternative grayscale kits out there now, the Xceed Color 30HR really is a fantastic card. I have both that card and the top end MacroColor 30HR card too.
