Picked up a PowerMac G4 MDD with the Zip750 drive!

I made my own 128GB from eBay parts... these work in all my PPC so far (2.5 to 3.5 adapters for the desktops, $4), as well as in the gen 1 Apple TV.
44pin 2.5 IDE to mSATA adapter ($13@) with some refurbished drives Lot of 5 mSATA drives ($40 for 5).

Wondering what you use to format those mSATA drives? Got one all hooked up and Drive Setup on the OS9 install CD from my store bought 10.1.2 set says it's unsupported.

Need any 2003 MDD bootable CD with formatting tools on it.

All of mine showed up as normal drives on the IDE chain. G3 Strawberry, G4 cube, 2 different model G4 lamps, and G4 Sawtooth. Do you have other devices on the IDE cable (master slave issue)? If you purchased the 2.5 mSATA to IDE drives, here are the jumper settings:
