Printing over Wifi from Compact Mac?

Hello!

Does anyone know of a way to print over wifi from a Compact Mac with wireless equipped BlueSCSI? I'd like to be able to print from my compacts, if possible. Thanks!

There's a potential way with HP printers, but to my knowledge, not with any other brand at the moment

I think you can try installing netatalk and sharing a printer from there. I did it with by Brother printer and could print from system 7.

If you intend to print to Netatalk with System 6 or earlier, you MUST install the LaserWriter 7 driver. System 6.0.8 came with this driver out of the box. Some System 6 machines can run the LaserWriter 8 driver too, but the older driver is lighter weight and likely more suitable for a compact.

The macs I have use System 7 and above. I need to figure out how to install netatalk 2 on my server running Ubuntu 25.04 LTS

Install Netatalk 4 as it brings back AppleTalk support. 25.04 LTS seems to have just missed including it while 25.10 has it.
